Since its formation FOSM has raised more than £100K and funded multiple projects including repair/replacement of stonework, the installation of a new window, the replacement of the bell ringing ropes, and repairs to the clock. Some are illustrated below.
Our next project is to restore the Culpeper effigies which date from the 16th century. The painted wooden tomb effigies commemorate Sir Alexander Culpeper (d. 1541) and his Second Wife, Dame Constance Culpeper. It was carved and painted in 1537 during the Reformation, and is one of only eighty or so of its kind in the country.
